I recently read that Islamic State has beheaded four children because they refused to convert.
It breaks my heart to know that these monsters without matter, these cruel demons of hate are killing innocent people with no good reason.
They may say they have one, but I don't see it, not one good reason.
They are not anarchists, they are not a higher being.
They hide behind masks because they are afraid; they are afraid of people who will stand up to them, they are afraid of Death;
Mortality is their fear.
The torturous mortals are afraid to look into the eyes of those they kill, to see their own face reflected in the orbs of those who perish believing it what is right, what is good, and what is true.
The problem is, is that people see them as vicious animals, but they are not. They are humans who hunt to try and prove that they are better.
I say they are cowardly, they have no honor, and they deserve the same death as those they have killed.

In the Wake of Today
I never really learned about the Founding Fathers in school, and I regret to say that I never truly studied them as many should.
This passage was sent to me a while ago, they are quotes said by Thomas Jefferson, a remarkable gentleman who helped shaped America for the better.
This passage was sent to me a while ago, they are quotes said by Thomas Jefferson, a remarkable gentleman who helped shaped America for the better.
"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe ."
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world."
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."
"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."
Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Reviewer's Guide: Grave Beginnings
I love to read, there's no doubt about that.
I've subscribed to many Facebook groups that promote new novels and authors, AND I get newsletters from anywhere and everywhere about new and upcoming books that will hit the market soon.
However, while reading through this one newsletter about new books, I came across one that definitely caught my eye (and I'm not just talking about the book cover.)
It is called Grave Beginnings: the Grave Report by one R.R. Virdi. (the link is below)
Most of the books I've seen so far are the exact same plot just different context, however this book is unsuspecting and unexpected. It is different from the others and I kid you not, the moment I picked up my Kindle to read this, I slid further on the edge on my seat.
This is all true, every page I read kept me on the edge. This was like an obsession, one that I could not put down. (The last time I was like this, it was when the last Harry Potter book arrived) and that was... seven years ago. (oh I feel old)
Any this book, Grave Beginnings is about this lone man, Vincent Graves and how he solves murders by reliving the memories of the murdered so he can find and stop the killer(s).
The Author cleverly designed Vincent and his other characters, their past and present, characteristics and persona. There is so much to add to the characters and to the environment so much that you can envision every detail inscribed in this tome.
And trust me, with the "books" being published today, visualizing works today are hard to come by.
If you have free time from work, or are relaxing at home or the beach, I highly suggest this novel for a very good read. This is one that captures your very soul and ignites that sense of adventure and mystery.
Trust me, from a first hand account, this novel gripped my very core (inspiringly) right up to the last word.

Gamers Project
I am taking up a new project.
It sucks
... and I am going to record the game play of different games, right now it's Skyrim. I am taking this up with my significant other ;D and I think it'll be fun.
We make a funny, great team and I think this will be a hit XD
with a bat?
So before I post the links to the first to clips, it's hard to hear the game in the first one because the sound was coming from the speakers, not the headset, but we fix it in the second one :D
here is Part one: (it gets funny)
and here is Part two: (this one gets punny)

Realization
I am slowly approaching the first quarter of my years. Looking back, I realize that all the things I used to enjoy as a child, I don't anymore.
Take the recent snowfalls in the past few weeks, as a kid I loved snow, loved to play, to build snowmen, create angels.
But now, I only like it in my dreams or imagination, because I have to drive to work or to class in that snow.
Another is using the word, "Boyfriend" I never use that word when introducing my companion, because saying "boyfriend" sounds adolescent and childish.
That's why I always introduce him as: companion, partner, significant other, consort, or partner in crime.
I love using the last one, people get concerned, in a good way.
There are many other things I found that I just can't do anymore. It may be tough letting go, but I always know that my children will enjoy them, and their children and so on and so forth.

To Pen Fib and Fact
I write a lot. I have penned a book that is yet to be published.
But, I also write short stories, for a small group of my most trusted cohorts.
I am not an author yet, but I hope to be one soon.
I found, that it is hard to tell the truth in a story, when the writer does not have it written down.
The pen can alter words, change your mind, fix fact from fiction.
A pen can be your trusted ally, or your worst enemy. And it is only the few can who wield the power of proverb, string together a sentence, and project the collaborated paragraph.
I was about to tell my companion of a scene in my story, (one that is still in the works) when my own pen taped duct tape over my mouth and forced me not to say.

I have become a prisoner of my own words, my own pen.
